Junior Fees & Kit

Junior Fees

Annual fees cover the period from September to mid July and include additional training sessions in half term holidays during this period.  If offsite training camps are arranged, there will be an additional charge for these. 

Membership fees are payable by BACS to HSBC 40-44-46, Walbrook Rowing Club 51446967. Please put your child’s name in the payment reference box.

The annual Walbrook junior membership fees for the 2021/22 season:

J12, J13, J14: £615 J15, J16: £675   J17,J18: £725 

If junior members are told to leave the club because of misbehaviour membership fees will not be funded.

Teddington Watersports Centre (“TWC”) are the Management Company for the site. TWC are responsible for the upkeep of the premises; paying general maintenance, utilities, insurance, cleaning and many other expenses that occur from time to time. This is payable for 12 months from the date of joining and is £135 (as at June 2021)

Racing fees and costs: indicative costs per race are £25 which covers entry fees and transport of the boats

British Rowing Racing Licence. This is required in order to race and currently costs £29.50 per year (as at June 2019).  How to Get:- British_Rowing_Membership.pdf 

Kit

Training kit – Juniors need to wear shorts or tracksuit bottoms, base layer or T-shirt, and a fleece. They must also bring a change of clothes and a waterproof if wet or they will not be allowed onto the water. Juniors are also encouraged to purchase a club sweater.

Racing – They will need a Walbrook all-in-one (approx. £53) and black base layer depending on season. Optional club kit can be purchased here.
